WISDOM TEETH & VANILLA SKY. Ah... what a week-end.... My sister had 2 of her 'wisdom' teeth removed on Saturday, making her speak like Chewbacca the whole day... my brother and I had to decode everything that she was saying... 'Get what? this one?... no? ahh.... this? hmmm... wrong... how about this one?' it goes on and on... She was much better on Sunday-- actually went to the school fair (she's a 2nd grade teacher at Xavier School) to help out ... & went along with my brother and I to watch 'Vanilla Sky'.................. Hmmm.... Vanilla Sky -- I liked the movie. T'was a little weird... but it was nice. Tom Cruise was superb as usual-- very good looking for the most part. Anyway, I think the movie is about our lives... on how much power we have over it. We can actually define how it will look like -- y'know us deciding whether our hopes and dreams should become a reality. One roadblock we must surpass though are our fears... which could immobilize us... make us do the unthinkable. ... Fears could be ---1] losing a loved one (girl/boyfriend, parents, siblings, best friends); 2] losing wealth; 3] losing confidence, integrity-- losing face.... I think it also speaks of the value of a support system... you know, the people around us who are willing to help, if we allow them to..... ---anyway, I don't know.
